ZAGREB, April 27 (Hina) - A Croatian National Sabor Vice President, Mato Arlovic, on Thursday met Rafael Biermann of the Bonn-based Centre for European Integration Studies, who offered Croatia assistance in its efforts to join
European integration processes, the Sabor's public relations office reported. Biermann is in charge of South-East European countries and Croatia, and co-ordinates cooperation between the countries of the Stability Pact. He is also a member of a research group on the expansion of the European Union. Arlovic informed his guest about the adoption of new legal solutions which remove discriminatory regulations regarding the return of refugees and reconstruction. The two officials also discussed the transformation of Croatian Television into a public medium and the constitutional law on minority rights, which has been sent into parliamentary procedure. Croatia is especially interested in the drawing up of a project on
its speedier admission to the European Union, Arlovic said, adding
