ZAGREB ZAGREB, April 25 (Hina) - Croatian National Parliament's President Zlatko Tomcic on Tuesday received Imam of Zagreb, Aziz Hasanovic, the Sabor's public relations office reported. During the cordial conversation, Imam Hasanovic
pointed to the importance of very good cooperation between Croatia's authorities and the Islamic community that has 40,000 members in the country. This religious dignitary added that the Islamic faithful care for the well-being of the country where they live. Sabor President Tomcic said possibilities of all citizens to exercise their religious and ethnic rights was an inseparable and important part of democracy. He added that the consistent application of the current laws as well as their amendments would lead to the promotion of the position of national minorities and help remove some open issues.
