ZAGREB, April 7 (Hina) - Croatian first deputy prime minister Goran Granic on Friday received the Portuguese Ambassador to Croatia, Ana Barata, with whom he spoke about Croatia's approaching European associations, the Government's
Public and Media Relations Office said in a statement. Granic and Barata agreed there were many similarities between Croatia and Portugal and that Croatia could follow the models Portugal had applied during integration into the European union. Barata added the Portuguese Government would he prepared to provide assistance to Croatia through exchanging experience regarding reforms necessary for getting closer to the European Union.
