ROME, April 5 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Tonino Picula, who arrived in Rome earlier today, on Wednesday evening met representatives of the Croat community living in the Italian province of Molise, and representatives of
Croatian associations in Italy. Representatives of the Molise Croat community outlined their problems, asking for assistance in preserving the Croatian language which in Molise has survived for more than five centuries. Unless nurtured, the language will die, they told Minister Picula. The Molise Croats also advocated bigger economic co-operation, which Minister Picula supported, as well as full co-operation in education and culture. On Thursday, Croatia's foreign minister will hold talks with Vatican's counterpart Jean-Louis Tauran and Italy's counterpart Lamberto Dini.(hina) ha
