ZAGREB, March 25 (Hina) - Canadian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Lloyd Axworthy and Maria Minna respectively, on Saturday made it public that the two ministries had launched their joint initiative for the
assistance of democratic reforms in Croatia. According to a statement which Croatia's Foreign Ministry released on Saturday, this assistance is worth two million Canadian dollars. The means have been allocated for mine clearance in Croatian regions, and will be used in cooperation with the Croatian De-Mining Centre, according to a UN mine removal programme. In addition, money will be used via the UNHCR for projects of the return and reintegration of refugees and for programmes of peace building and the judiciary's reforms. The Canadian Ministers Axworthy and Minna said in their statement

human rights protection, democratisation and the foreign policy,
