ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - An administrative court refused an appeal against the Croatian Government's decision to dissolve the City Assembly of Zagreb, filed by a former president of the Assembly, Zlatko Canjuga. The court made this
ruling on Thursday afternoon, the Government's Commissioner for Zagreb, Josip Kregar, told reporters at a regular news conference on Friday. He added that on April 6 the Government is likely to announce the date for local elections in Zagreb. "Currently the most burning issue is to draft a budget for financing the city, and a programme has been made for austerity measures and we are going to discuss it with Finance Minister Mato Crkvenac," Kregar added.(hina) ms
