ZAGREB MEETS FORMER CITY HEADS ZAGREB, March 13 (Hina) - A Croatian government commissioner for the City of Zagreb, Josip Kregar, on Monday discussed the take-over of city authorities with former mayor Marina Matulovic-Dropulic and
the former City Assembly president Zlatko Canjuga. "Our position is that the city is continuing to develop, and we won't wait a minute, and certainly not two months, to continue with what has been started in the city," Kregar told the City Authorities. Kregar said he and the former mayor had agreed on having members of City Authorities, namely the heads of city offices, submit brief reports on the state of affairs in their area, in order to define when responsibility shifted onto himself. Following today's talks with Matulovic-Dropulic, Kregar visited the City Assembly where Canjuga turned over his authorities.
