ZAGREB, March 31 (Hina) - A representative of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS) to the Croatian National Sabor House of Representatives, Ivo Skrabalo was appointed new president of the Croatian Radio Television Council at
Friday's session of the Council. Skrabalo was elected by the majority of the vote before counter-candidate Jadranka Kosor of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ). Director of the Croatian Radio Television (HRT) Mirko Galic motioned that the Council replaces Croatian Television editor-in-chieff Obrad Kosovac. The acting editor-in-chieff would be appointed until the adoption of a new law on the Croatian Radio Television and the public bid. Kosovac refused to submit his resignation or make his mandate available, stressing he did not feel guilt, nor shame about what he had been doing in the past ten months while performing the duty of the Croatian Television editor-in-chieff.(hina) i
