ZAGREB, March 27 (Hina) - Industrial production in Croatia in the period between December 1999 and February 2000 increased by 2.1 percent in relation to the same period the year before, the State Institute for Statistics reported. The
assessment of the main industrial branches shows that durable consumer goods registered the highest increase rate - 22.9 percent. An increase of 5.3 percent was also registered in the production of intermediate goods, not including power, whereas the production of capital products increased by 4.7 percent. At the same time, the production of power decreased by 1.6 percent and of consumer non-durable goods by three percent.
