RACAN SAYS TUTA'S TRIAL MIGHT BE HELD IN CROATIA

BERLIN, March 8 (Hina) - The trial against Mladen Naletilic Tuta will probably be held in Croatia, Croatian Prime Minister Ivica Racan told reporters on Wednesday in Berlin which he is visiting as a guest of the Social Democratic Foundation "Friedrich Ebert". tuta was indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) for the violation of the Geneva Convention and war rights and customs. Racan stressed that in defending the Croatian homeland War some would like to make a quarrel between Croatia and America, Europe and the Hague-based tribunal. "Some are doing this out of fear that their own involvement in certain events during the aggression will surface," Racan said, adding that MPs would on Friday try to find joint solutions in defending the values of the Homeland War.
