ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - The extradition of Mladen Naletilic Tuta to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) could jeopardise his life, a doctors' team taking care of Naletilic's health said in a a
statement on Thursday. The doctors' team stressed that the narrowing of an artery which has been extended by an operation points to unfavourable course, namely a poor diagnosis. The doctor's statement was signed by the head of the doctors' team, Ivo Cikes. In doctors' opinion, Naletilic is seriously ill, and any additional stress could cause premature death. Therefore, they concluded, Naletilic's trip to The Hague was were risky. In late 1998, the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia brought charges against Naletilic. The indictment read that Naletilic was the commander of a so-called convicts' battalion in Bosnia-Herzegovina in 1993. Naletilic is charged with crimes against
