ZAGREB, March 7 (Hina) - Croatia's Foreign Minister Tonino Picula on Tuesday held talks with Israeli Deputy Defence Minister Ephraim Sneh on basic guidelines of Croatia's new Government's foreign policy, the Foreign Ministry reported.
Picula pointed to his country's bids to be soon admitted to EuroAtlantic association processes, and accentuated Croatia's orientation toward building very good relations with all neighbouring countries. In this context, he spoke of instability which was still being felt in southeastern Europe, particularly in Yugoslavia (Serbia/Montenegro) and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Sneh conveyed Israeli authorities' congratulations to the Croatian new Government, and pointed out interest in the continuation of cooperation between the two countries.
