LJUBLJANA, Feb 28 (Hina) - A Croatian parliamentary delegation headed by parliament vice president and foreign affairs committee chairman Zdravko Tomac on Monday visited Ljubljana for talks with colleagues from the Slovene
parliament's committee on foreign affairs, who were headed by chairman Jelko Kacin. Speaking on Slovene Radio, Tomac said it was necessary to take a different approach in resolving open issues, starting from minor issues and making compromises. "If we want to be part of Europe, we have to resolve problems in keeping with European standards," said Tomac. He told Slovene Radio it was Croatia's wish that today's talks result in concrete steps forward in the resolving of open issues. He said progress could be expected in an agreement on the avoidance of double taxation, tourist cooperation, the ratification of a local border agreement, and the continuation of negotiations on the
