ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - The remains of three Croats exhumed in 1998 and 1999 from mass graves at the New Cemetery in Vukovar and Ilok, towns in eastern-most Croatia, were identified at the Zagreb Forensics Institute on Thursday. The
remains belong to a soldier gone missing in 1991, and two civilians. With today's identification the identity of 2,466 Croatian soldiers and civilians has been established among the remains of 3,117 persons exhumed from mass and single graves. The Croatian government's Commission for Detained and Missing Persons has yet to shed light on the fate of 1,641 persons gone missing during the Serb aggression on Croatia earlier last decade.(hina) ha jn
