ZAGREB, Feb 22 (Hina) - One pyrotechnician was killed and another was seriously injured in a mine explosion in Tinj near Benkovac in the Zadar hinterland, on Tuesday morning. The two mine removal experts, Zoran Adamovic (aged 26) and
Mario Brezak (24), were members of special police forces from Zagreb. Bezak was taken to a hospital in Zadar where he underwent surgery. According to a statement from the Interior Ministry, Adamovic, who was killed in the explosion, had been testing potentially mined areas as part of preparations for a project of humanitarian de-mining, which is organised by the Croatian Mine Action Centre.(hina) rml
