RACAN MEETS SERBIAN OPPOSITION, MONTENEGRIN PREMIER

ZAGREB, Feb 18 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Ivica Racan on Friday met Montenegrin Premier Filip Vujanovic and representatives of the Serbian Opposition, who arrived in Zagreb for the inauguration of Croatian President Stjepan Mesic, the Government's Public Relations Office reported. During his talks with the Serbian Opposition, Racan stressed the Croatian Government was interested in the development of democracy in Yugoslavia and its joining European integration processes. Croatia does not want the borders of the European Union to cease on Europe's eastern borders, Racan said. Representatives of the Serbian Opposition expressed strong interest in finding forms of cooperation in the field of refugee return between the Croatian Government, international institutions and non-governmental organisations, especially within the Stability Pact for South-eastern Europe.
