BUCHAREST, Feb 12 (Hina) - Bodo Hombach, special coordinator for the Stability Pact for South-East Europe, said on Saturday Croatia demonstrated a clear wish for social and economic reforms as well as its European orientation and he
would therefore request special assistance for the country at a conference on the financing of East European countries, to take place in Brussels in late March. Hombach was speaking at the third meeting of heads of state and government of South-East European countries in Bucharest. Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina were participating in the conference as observer-countries. Hombach said the changes he was speaking about were important not only for Croatia but also for the whole region and expressed a wish to meet in Zagreb with representatives of the new government and discuss with them changes as well as possibilities the Stability Pact was offering Croatia.
