ZAGREB, Jan 22 (Hina) - President of the Croatian National Sabor's House of Counties Katica Ivanisevic on Saturday returned to Zagreb from an official visit to Spain and from Geneva where he attended a preparation meeting for
"Beijing+5" conference. Ivanisevic visited Spain at the invitation of President of the Spanish Senate Esperanza Aquirre. "I talked to heads of the Spanish parliament and other Spanish officials on future cooperation", Ivanisevic said and added there was a great international interest for further economic and cultural cooperation between Zagreb and Madrid. The talks also addressed the political situation in Croatia, she added. Spain will advocate democratic processes in Croatia and contribute to Croatia's joining European integration, said Ivanisevic.
