ZAGREB, Feb 10 (Hina) - A committee for tourism of the Croatian National Sabor's House of Representatives at Thursday's session passed a decision which supports a quality, transparent, and quick privatisation in tourism, however, due
to the current situation, the privatisation should be stopped until the Government passes a final privatisation programme. Croatian Tourism Minister Pave Zupan-Ruskovic supported the committee's proposal and pointed to the Government's standpoint that the privatisation should be continued. She stressed, however, that prior to that it was necessary to define who was to make decisions in the process. Committee's president Valter Drandic of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (IDS) said that this would prevent further damage to tourism. The committee also discussed the current situation in tourism, and preparations for the upcoming season.(hina) it
