ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - President of the Badel 1862 supervising committee Marko Sapunar on Tuesday said he would not resign to his duties, as it was demanded by the coordination for the defence of Badel 1862, because the supervising
committee and the board were performing their jobs well, adding that only responsible persons for the current difficult situation were members of the coordination. Sapunar said that because of protests, staged by the coordination, the company has not been operating since December 8. "I see no reasons for my resignation. Besides, I can submit my resignation only to the those who appointed me, namely the assembly of the Badel stock holders", Sapunar said. ZAGREB, Jan 11 (Hina) - President of the Badel 1862 supervising
committee Marko Sapunar on Tuesday said he would not resign to his
duties, as it was demanded by the coordination for the defence of
Badel 1862, because the supervising committee and the board were
performing their jobs well, adding that only responsible persons
for the current difficult situation were members of the
coordination.
Sapunar said that because of protests, staged by the coordination,
the company has not been operating since December 8.
"I see no reasons for my resignation. Besides, I can submit my
resignation only to the those who appointed me, namely the assembly
of the Badel stock holders", Sapunar said.
He added he had nothing against an idea that the new assembly be
convened, which would discuss the work and a possible appointment
of a new supervising committee.
The coordination, which includes the association of Badel small
stock holders and Badel Homeland War veterans, cannot achieve
anything even in a new assembly, Sapunar believes, because the
majority owners, who own 76 percent of stocks, support the current
board and the supervising committee, Sapunar said.
President of the Badel board Mario Sherr, who was prevented from
entering the board building downtown on Monday by members of the
coordination, on Tuesday said he requested that the County Court
implemented a temporary measure, so he could attend his job again.
Until then, Sherr will be working in the premises of the Croatian
Association of Employers.
