ZAGREB, Jan 21 (Hina) - Presidential of the German Social Democratic Party and Chancellor, Gerhard Schroeder, send a message of congratulations to president of the Croatian Social Democratic Party (SDP), Ivica Racan, on electoral
victory, the SDP said in a statement Friday. Schroeder expressed satisfaction with the success of the SDP and the democratic opposition at the recent parliamentary elections in Croatia, because this victory means Croatia's drawing closer to Europe, and its significance transcends Croatia's borders, the statement said.
