ZAGREB, Feb 7 (Hina) - The Presidency of the House of Representatives of the Croatian National Sabor on Monday met for the first time since the constituting of the lower house. The Presidency discussed the continuation of the first
parliamentary session on February 9, when the new government will present its programme. Sabor President Zlatko Tomcic, who is also the Acting Head of State, said the parliament would try to establish its permanent agenda by early March. Tomcic added that four new benches were established today, including the benches of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar Party (PGS), Croatian People's Party/Liberal Party (HNS/LS), Croatian Party of Rights/Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HSP/HKDU), and the bench of national minorities. Tomcic added that four new benches were established today,

Croatian People's Party/Liberal Party (HNS/LS), Croatian Party of
Rights/Croatian Christian Democratic Union (HSP/HKDU), and the
bench of national minorities.
Commenting on requests by employers' associations and non-
government organisations, Tomcic said the Sabor Presidency decided
to enable citizens, non-government and other associations to
monitor parliamentary sessions.
The Sabor Presidency also entrusted Sabor vice presidents with new
duties. Mato Arlovic will be in charge of coordinating the
Committee for the Constitution, Legislation and Justice and the
legislative activities of the Sabor and Government.
Zdravko Tomac was entrusted with coordinating foreign affairs
whereas Vlatko Pavletic will be in charge of culture and the Sabor's
library. The other two Sabor Vice-Presidents, Ivic Pasalic and
Baltazar Jalsovec, will also be entrusted with duties.
The Presidency also established that not all state officials have
fulfilled their obligations regarding declarations on assets,
instructing them to do so in 15 days.
