UNION REPS CONSIDER KUTLE'S ARREST AS MOVE BY LAWFUL STATE

ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - President of the Graphics and Publications Union, Stjepan Kolaric considers that Thursday night's arrest of Miroslav Kutle is a sign that the country has begun to function justly and proves that the unions were correct when they warned of illegal activities in Tisak and Slobodan Dalmacija which at the time was the cause of their strikes. "Kutle could not have become the owner of 160 companies without the support of the political leadership. Many countries have Mafia gangs but it appears our Mafia had its own state", Kolaric said in a statement for Hina. Kolaric reminded that his union had filed for charges to be pressed against Tisak's board of directors in December however, these were not attended to by the former authorities due to their involvement.
