ZAGREB ZAGREB, Feb 2 (Hina) - United States Secretary of State Madeleine Albright arrived in Zagreb on Wednesday afternoon to extend support to Croatia's new authorities and express U.S. wishes for Croatia to step up access to the
European Union and NATO. Immediately upon arriving at Zagreb's airport, Albright held talks with presidential candidate Drazen Budisa. She will later also meet the other candidate for the February 7 presidential run-off, Stipe Mesic. Albright will holds talks with Croatian Premier Ivica Racan, with whom she will later hold a joint press conference. Also planned are talks with parliament president and acting head of state Zlatko Tomcic, and a meeting with representatives of non-governmental organisation GONG.(hina) ha
