ZAGREB, Jan 27 (Hina) - Croatia's future Prime Minister, Ivica Racan on Thursday announced the composition of the coalition Government of six parties. Racan and his Government will be appointed at 14.00 hours Thursday by the president
of the Croatian National Sabor and Croatia's acting president, Vlatko Pavletic. He will relieve the current government, headed by Zlatko Matesa, from its duties. Along with Racan as the prime Minister, also in the Government will be Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic of the Croatian Social Liberal Party (HSLS), and Slavko Linic and Zeljka Antunovic of the Social Democratic Party (SDP). The Finance Minister will be Mato Crkvenac of the SDP, Defence Minister Jozo RadoS of the HSLS, Interior Minister Sime Lucin of the SDP, Foreign Minister Tonino Picula of the SDP, Immigration Reconstruction and Development Minister Radimir Cacic of the Croatian People's Party (HNS), Economy Minist

Racan and his Government will be appointed at 14.00 hours Thursday
by the president of the Croatian National Sabor and Croatia's
acting president, Vlatko Pavletic. He will relieve the current
government, headed by Zlatko Matesa, from its duties.
Along with Racan as the prime Minister, also in the Government will
be Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic of the Croatian Social
Liberal Party (HSLS), and Slavko Linic and Zeljka Antunovic of the
Social Democratic Party (SDP).
The Finance Minister will be Mato Crkvenac of the SDP, Defence
Minister Jozo RadoS of the HSLS, Interior Minister Sime Lucin of the
SDP, Foreign Minister Tonino Picula of the SDP, Immigration
Reconstruction and Development Minister Radimir Cacic of the

the HSLS, Croatian Homeland Soldiers Minister Ivica Pandjic,
Agriculture and Forestry Minister Bozidar Pankretic of the
Croatian Peasants' Party (HSS), Maritime, Transportation and
Communications Minister Alojz Tusek of the HSLS, Justice Minister
Stjepan Ivanisevic (SDP), Minister of Living, Urban Planing, and
construction Bozo Kovacevic of the Liberal Party (LS), sports and
education Minister Vladimir Strugar of the HSS, Labour and social
Welfare Minister Davorko Vidovic of the SDP, Tourism Minister Pave
Zupan Ruskovic, Health Minister Maja Stavljevic-Rukavina, Science
and Technology Minister Hrvoje Kraljevic of the HSLS, Culture
Minister Antun Vujic of the SDP, Ivan Jakovcic of the Istrian
Democratic Assembly (IDS) will be in charge of European
Integration, Zeljko Pecek of the HSLS of craftsmanship, and small
and medium entrepreneurship.
The new Government will include 19 ministers, namely two more than
the old Government
Racan confirmed that Zlatko Tomcic of the HSS was a candidate for
the president of the Croatian National Sabor. Of five vice
presidents of the House of Representatives, three are candidates of
the Coalition Six, namely Mato Arlovic and Zdravko Tomac of the SDP,
and Baltazar Jalsovec of the HSLS. The remaining two must should be
of the Croatian Democratic Union.
