RIGHT PEOPLE FOR RIGHT POSITIONS - SAYS PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE LEDIC

ZAGREB, Jan 22 (Hina) - Independent presidential candidate Ante Ledic told his final pre-electoral rally in Zagreb on Saturday all people of good intentions should work towards making responsible people have the right positions in economy and politics. Ledic said that because of the crashed economy and ruined foreign politics, he was willing to put his knowledge at the service of the people and the homeland, pointing out he could and wanted to do so. It is necessary to turn to the people, the family, and the individual, and thus return to Christian principles so that man may know himself because only then can he be of use to others, said Ledic. Dignified living should be guaranteed for everyone, because only then can we guarantee human and civic freedoms, he added. Ledic called on all to join in building Croatia as it was in our vision, in order to ennoble Croatia's territory and give all people the possibility to live off their work, in tolerance. Assessing that in the past nine years the authorities did not function, Ledic said the elected president of state should force the government and all other institutions of authority to execute their duties.
