ZAGREB, Jan 20 (Hina) - The Council of Europe is expected to discontinue the monitoring of Croatia's implementation of its commitments in April and the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly will next week positively assess the
January election, a member of the Croatian delegation at the Parliamentary Assembly told Hina on Thursday. "Rapporteurs of the Council of Europe have been invited to Croatia in March so that the new government, but also the Council of Europe, is given time to compile its report on Croatia for the Assembly's April session," said Zarko Domljan of the Croatian Democratic Union, adding the monitoring of Croatia was expected to end then. Domljan said the report on Croatia presented at the last meeting of the Monitoring Committee in Paris on January 12 was "very positive". The report included another report on the January 3 parliamentary election, which was monitored, among others, a
