ZAGREB, Jan 20 (Hina) - The Shop Assistants' Union of Croatia (STH), headed by its president Ana Knezevic, on Thursday reached an agreement with Croatian Privatisation Fund (HFP) vice-president Velimir Kracun on the payment of arrears
and the continuation of the reorganisation process in the 'Nama' chain of stores. According to a statement issued by the STH, the salaries of 'Nama' workers will be paid from the HFP and Economy Ministry funds by January 25. By the end of this week, the offer of 'Ernest and Young' consulting company on a reorganisation programme for 'Nama' will be accepted. A new, three-member management of 'Nama' will be appointed and the resignation of the current management president Josko Zavore will be accepted. The Federation of Independent Workers' Unions of Croatia (SSSH) is
to discuss the reorganisation of some companies at a meeting with
premier designate Ivica Racan, which will also be attended by STH
representatives, who will present their demands regarding 'Nama'.
