SKOPJE, Jan 13 (Hina) - The economy task force of the Stability Pact for Southeast Europe on Thursday urged the elimination of obstacles in trade among countries in the region, and in their trade with countries of the European Union
(EU) and the United States. The countries included in the Pact convened in the Macedonian capital of Skopje, and agreed to form a task force that will draft a plan for the elimination of obstacles in trade. The head of the Croatian delegation, Assistant Economy Minister Neven Mimica, pointed to the importance of stepping up processes aimed at the inclusion of Stability Pact countries into the World Trade Organisation and their integration with the EU and the Central European Free Trade Association, instead of attempting to create new regional economic and trade associations.(hina) ha
