ZAGREB, Jan 20 (Hina) - Anto Djapic, a candidate of the Croatian

presented his programme in Zagreb.
Claiming that in Croatia "there are more an more those who have
quickly forgotten what hardships the Croatian people underwent,"
he said if elected as Croatia's President he would advocate that the
Croatian State be built on "the values on which a project for the
creation of the Croatian State was based."
Djapic added that "certain associations are trying to label him as a
racist and xenophobe, scaring voters that if he should be the

isolation."
"I am neither xenophobe nor racist and I hate no one, but I think
that nobody in Croatia can have greater rights than the Croatian
people," he stressed.
Commenting on other candidates for the presidential ballot,
scheduled for January 24, Djapic assessed that Stipe Mesic "is
trying to present himself as a possible counterbalance," but,
according to Djapic, "there is actually no difference between his
views and views of Budisa and Granic."
Djapic expects from voters to return back "a pendulum which at the
parliamentary election swung too much in the left direction," so
that the Croatian right can have its President of the Republic.
