ZAGREB, Jan 19 (Hina) - A former Italian President and lifetime senator, Francesco Cossiga, on Wednesday lit a candle an said a prayer in front of the grave of his friend and Croatia's first President Franjo Tudjman. Cossiga arrived
in Zagreb on Wednesday on a two-day private visit. On Thursday he is to be received by Croatia's acting President Vlatko Pavletic and Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic. This Italian politician visited Croatia several times. He was the first foreign head of state to come in Croatia in January 1992, just two days after Croatia was recognised internationally as an independent and sovereign state. The late Croatian President conferred on him the Order of King Tomislav in 1993.(hina) ms
