ZAGREB, Jan 13 (Hina) - The president of the European Commission, Romano Prodi, will arrive in Zagreb on Friday to welcome democratic changes in Croatia and mark a new phase of relations between Croatia and the European Union, a
representative of the European Commission office in Zagreb said on Thursday. After the end of his visit to Bulgaria, Prodi will arrive in Zagreb in an official visit to Croatia, where he is scheduled to hold talks with Croatia's acting president Vlatko Pavletic, future Prime Minister Ivica Racan and Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic. The aim of this visit is to welcome democratic changes in Croatia, which were elected by Croatian nation, political representative of the European envoy in Croatia Mirela Rasic said.
