ZAGREB ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - An exhibition marking the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Croatian Franciscan province of St. Cyril and Method opened in Zagreb on Wednesday. On display are the most valuable exhibits of
Franciscan art in continental Croatia dating back to the 13th century. The exhibits come from monastery treasure boxes, churches and chapels from the northern Adriatic to the Danube river in eastern-most Croatia. The exhibition testifies to Franciscan presence in the history of Croatian culture, Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic said in the opening address.
