ZAGREB, Jan 10 (Hina) - The Coordination for the defence of Badel
1862, whose members occupied the Badel Board building in Zagreb in
early hours Monday, and prevented main director Mario Sherr from
entering the building, demanded that Badel supervising committee
urgently appoints Dario Covic the new Badel 1862 main director.
Covic is currently the director of foreign trade.
On behalf of the Coordination, Ante Perkovic said that persons
participating in the protest will not leave the Board building, nor
start the production until current director Sherr and president of
the Supervising Committee Marko Sapunar resign to their duties.
Small stock holders demand that extraordinary session of the
assembly at which the new supervising committee and its members
would be appointed, be called urgently. In case the extraordinary
session is not called within three days, small stock-holders
themselves will call it, Perkovic said.
Sherr harshly condemned the occupation of the Badel building,
claiming that Perkovic is behind this action. Sherr claims that
Perkovic is trying to illegally get Badel stocks for himself and
persons of like mind.
