ZAGREB, Dec 20 (Hina) - Newly appointed Croatian members of a permanent Croatian-Slovene commission for the implementation of an agreement on local border traffic and cooperation between the two countries, members of sub-commissions
for hunting and fishery from areas along the Croatian-Slovene border, and representatives of counties, towns and municipalities along the border met at the Foreign Ministry in Zagreb Thursday. Representatives from the areas along the two countries' border assessed the agreement as very good, saying its implementation should start as soon as possible, the Ministry said in a statement. Among other things, they warned about the insufficient state care for sparsely populated border areas or areas with elderly population, which were not being granted development incentives.
