POGORICA, Dec 15 (Hina) - Speaking of a European Union initiative for the renewal of dialogue between Serbia and Montenegro, Montenegrin President Milo Djukanovic said on Saturday it represented a new chance for Montenegro's platform
urging establishing relations based on independence for both republics and an alliance which would be formed with a bilateral agreement. The Union's high representative for external affairs and security, Javier Solana, who sponsors the initiative, will visit Belgrade on Monday. "Our platform hasn't been treated adequately until recently, which is why this is a good opportunity to reintroduce the idea," Djukanovic told the Montenegrin television. "As long as there is dialogue, chances are we will reach a constructive, democratic and mutually acceptable solution," he said.
