KUTINA, Dec 13 (Hina) - The trial of Gordana Dumbovic before the Kutina Municipal Court was adjourned on Thursday before the start of the main hearing due to a request by the defence for the exemption of the presidents of the Kutina
Municipal Court and the Sisak County Court. Dumbovic is the president of the Croatian Party of Rights (HSP) branch in Petrinja and the town deputy mayor. The Petrinja Municipal Prosecutor's Office accused Dumbovic of having committed a criminal act of national and racial discrimination by insulting members of the Serb community in a pre-election broadcast on Croatian Radio on May 18, 2001. The HSP and the Alliance of Croatian Defence Forces (HOS) Associations staged a peaceful protest of support for Dumbovic in front of the Kutina Municipal Court. Around 100 HSP members and war victims from the area gathered at the protest.(hina) np sb
