ZAGREB, Dec 11 (Hina) - Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina want to solve open issues in a faster and more efficient way, Croatian President Stjepan Mesic said in Zagreb on Tuesday at the end of the fifth session of the Croatian-Bosnian
Cooperation Council. He also said meetings at senior levels should be replaced by more frequent meetings at lower levels. The Croatian president hosted the regular semi-annual meeting of the Cooperation Council, which discussed the implementation of agreements, bilateral contracts that are being harmonised as well as border issues, joint infrastructure projects and the situation in the region in the context of the fight against terrorism. Ahead of the session, Mesic met with the President of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jozo Krizanovic, and Presidency members Beriz Belkic and Zivko Radisic. Ahead of the session, Mesic met with the President of the Presidency
of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Jozo Krizanovic, and Presidency members
Beriz Belkic and Zivko Radisic.
After the session, representatives of the two countries signed an
agreement on refugee returns, a protocol on free transit through
the Neum corridor, an annex to an agreement on the establishment of
border crossings, and a protocol classifying border crossings.
