ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - The leaders of five Croatian union federations on Thursday evening agreed to organise a joint strike should the government decide to reduce workers' rights by the announced amendments to the Labour Act. "We are
ready for any joint activity, including strike, in order to prevent those changes," president of the Croatian Unions' Association Zdenko Mucnjak said after the talks with union leaders. Mucnjak said disagreements among unions were one of the main reasons for a poor state of the Croatian workers' rights, and added similar meetings will be held more often in the future.(hina) it
