ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - The government and trade unions of public services will resume negotiations on a new collective agreement for the public sector on Monday. In the continuation of negotiations, closed for the public, the
government should be deciding on the unions' requests for an increase of the current salary basis by 3.6 percent, union sources have reported. They are also expected to discuss the final draft amendments to the provision on coefficients and the start of negotiations about other material rights of public servants. The increase on the salary basis was requested last week to the salaries of employees in the public sector would follow the growth of salaries in the economy. The government did not decide on the request, while Deputy Prime Minister Goran Granic said the government would not sign any rights for which budgetary resources have not been secured.(hina) lml
