Cavoski added the Hague-based tribunal was "the continuation of the war against Serbs through other means". Other committee members, including a Belgrade publicist and journalist, Dragos Klajic, and writer Momo Kapor also supported Karadzic. They have condemned the Yugoslav and Serbian authorities for cooperating with the ICTY. The committee's honorary president is Smilja Avramov. Committee members include writers Dimitri Analis, Radoslav Bratic, Brana Crncevic, Rajko Petrov Nogo, the Serbian writers' association president Slobodan Rakitic, painters working in Paris Milos Sobajic and Ljuba Popovic, historian and academic Vasilije Krestic, and former curator of the Belgrade's national museum Nikola Kusovac. The committee was registered at the Yugoslav Justice Ministry November 8, 2001 as an association of individuals, domestic and foreign intellectuals aiming at "acquainting the public with the historical role" of Radovan Karadzic while he was at the helm of Bosnian Serbs.
