VIENNA VIENNA, Nov 30 (Hina) - Croatia believes that the expansion of the European Union and the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation will contribute to the improvement of stability and security for everyone in Europe, Croatian European
Integrations Minister Neven Mimica said at the 7th International financial and economic forum in Vienna ending Friday. Since certain reforms are being been carried out in Croatia, and the country is adjusting to European standards, Croatia's entry to the EU could be expected by the end of 2006, Mimica said. He added Croatia's microeconomic development was satisfying, particularly with regard to stimulating measures of tax policies. Administrative barriers are, however, hindering foreign investments in Croatia, but these should disappear with Croatia's approaching to the EU.(hina) np
