NUMEROUS DELEGATIONS LAY WREATHS AT MIROGOJ

ZAGREB, Nov 1 (Hina) - On the occasion of All Saints Day, delegations of the President, parliament, government and numerous ministries laid wreaths and lit candles at Zagreb's central cemetery of Mirogoj on Thursday. The Croatian President's delegation, led by internal affairs' advisor Igor Dekanic, laid a wreath at the Central Cross in the Alley of the Croatian Homeland War Soldiers. The Croatian parliament delegation, headed by parliament speaker Zlatko Tomcic, laid wreaths and lit candles at the Central Cross in the Alley of the Croatian Homeland Defence War Soldiers. They also laid a wreath at the grave of the first Croatian President Franjo Tudjman. The Croatian Government delegation, headed by vice premier Zeljka Antunic also laid wreaths and lit candles at the Central Cross, the grave of late president Tudjman, and the common grave of unidentified victims of the Homeland Defence War. Wreaths were also laid by delegations of the Croatian Defence Ministry, the Croatian Armed Forces, the Homeland War Soldiers' Ministry, the Interior Ministry. Delegations of the Social Democratic Party, the Croatian Democratic Union, the Croatian Peasants' Party, the Croatian Social Liberal Party, the Liberal Party, the Democratic Centre and the party of Croatian Identity and Prosperity alos laid wreths.
