SPLIT SPLIT, Oct 18 (Hina) - A three-day international seminar on the transparency of the defence, which gathered about a hundred participants from Croatia and other 14 countries, started on Thursday morning in Split. Domestic and
foreign experts are going to discuss the constitutional, social and political aspects of the defence today, while security and media aspects will be considered tomorrow. On Saturday the topic of the seminar will be the contemporary terrorism. This event, organised by the Defence Ministry, a centre for defence studies and the Political Science Faculty of Zagreb University in cooperation with the international foundation "Konrad Adenauer" is important for Croatia as it has still no finished documents on the strategy in the defence policy, which are pre-conditions drawing up for Croatia's 'White Book', which should serve as presentation of most important defence elements to the public.(hina) ms
