PRISTINA PRISTINA, Oct 17 (Hina) - Albanian and Serb leaders in Kosovo on Wednesday resumed talks which were organised by the OSCE Mission (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) and the American inter-ethnic relations
project. The talks are a continuation of negotiations that began this April. Although the meeting was being held behind closed doors, reporters learnt it was attended by the leaders of three largest Kosovo Albanian parties, and Serbian government representatives. A senior delegation of the UNMIK (UN Mission in Kosovo) was invited to attend the talks. The meeting presents an opportunity for the first confrontation of the Kosovo Albanian leaders with a Serbian government deputy premier, Nebojsa Covic, since his election as special Yugoslav envoy for Kosovo.
