RIJEKA, Oct 10 (Hina) - Italian President Carlo Azeglio Ciampi on Wednesday, as a part of his two-day visit to Croatia, visited the Northern Adriatic city of Rijeka and held talks with representatives of the Italian Union and the
Italian Community in Rijeka, city authorities and heads of Rijeka and Primorje-Gorski Kotar counties. The Italian President was accompanied by Croatian counterpart Stipe Mesic. Primorje Gorski Kotar County prefect Zlatko Komadina said members of the Italian minority and all other ethnic communities living in the Rijeka region in harmony with the majority population would build a better future.
