We are aware of our responsibility but we do not want to assume the responsibility of others, said the chief executive officer of Pliva, which imported contentious Baxter dialysers, believed to be the cause of the tragic death of 21 kidney patients over the last week in several haemodialysis centres in Croatia. Baxter's director for Europe, Jose Divino, said in the same TV broadcast that he could not comment on the tragedy until he got an insight into all the relevant data.
