The spokesman, Tim Zellesen, said on Friday that additional 2,000 troops from Germany, France, Sweden, Finland and Italy would be deployed. Their task is to offer assistance to local and international police in Kosovo during the ballot so that the voting could proceed fairly and without tensions. Kosovo police officials warn that everybody who will try to cause some trouble during the voting, will be severely punished.
