border, the Zagreb police said in a statement Friday. Around 7AM Friday, the police stopped a vehicle with Vukovar, eastern Croatia licence plates near the northern border crossing of Bregana and discovered 22 foreigners (five Yugoslavs, four Pakistanis, two Bangladeshi, four Iranians and seven Turks), including two women and a child. Late Thursday evening, the border police caught a Macedonian and four Albanians in an attempt of illegal border crossing near Bregana and brought them to a police court judge.
