for the November 17 general elections. In their speeches, Haekkerup and Everts stressed the enormous importance of the upcoming elections for the future of Kosovo, and called on all political subjects and voters to unite and carry out a fair, tolerant, just and valid electoral campaign, thus showing the world that this southern Yugoslav province is ready for democracy and self-government.(hina) lml sb
